I am honored to adopt a soldier and commit myself and my 17 yr old son to send things to a soldier as he protects us, our country and risks his life daily overseas. I am grateful for the sacrifices that these men and women make daily for myself and my family! God Bless them all!
... Susan in Frisco, Texas
Thank you for doing this. We have had many family members in the service and we know how much this means to them!
... Christine
I am the troop leader for 10 girl scouts. I am very exciting about this program. I have been looking for a way for my girls to contribute and I think this is great.
... Belinda in Charleston, Mississippi
I would just like the honor of adopting a soldier in my children's names to show them the sacrifices these individuals make everyday of their lives. I have a lot of family members and friends in the military and I want to repay my gratitude to them. If my words, thoughts or things I send can uplift them just a bit, that is reward enough for me.
... Alicia in Twin Falls, Idaho
I have received the information on my soldier. I am very excited to start communications with him. Thank you so much for the gift of giving.

I just wanted to say Thank You for my Marine. He is a really a sweet guy. A man of few words but what he says means alot. Thanks again for allowing me to support one of our Heroes!

I'm so impressed by the wonderful service you provide to our troops. I can tell it is a labor of love. It has been my pleasure to participate in a small way and I look forward to a continuing relationship with Hugs.

I wanted to send you a quick note and let you know Hugs is doing great things. Matt and I have been speaking every day...sometimes more than once via email, and it's wonderful. In addition, a young man that works with me will be going to your site and filling out a questionnaire so he can adopt a soldier...and my little sister will be as well. I think the program is fantastic so Im spreading the word.

My family and I had so much fun last night putting a care package together for our soldier!
... Staci in Oregon
My husband still remembers that someone gave him a carton of milk when he got off the plane as he returned from combat in Korea. It tasted like a MILKSHAKE to him! Thank you for what you are doing.

(Regarding our Welcome Home program):
We appreciate everything that you guys do to help any unit. It is a definite blessing. I am glad to hear you are working on grant writing for this. Because, honestly there is tons of support for folks downrange and they need all of it, but when they land back at their barracks, they have nothing but their duffles to start with and a little bit of good cheer goes a long way for these single soldiers, especially the ones that don't have family in the area.
... Anita in Germany
I pray for our soldiers so very often. I am so pleased to have a soldier to "Hug" with letters and occassional care packages as another way of showing both my support and gratitude to all the fine men and women who so generously give of themselves to serve our country.
... Gina in Ohio
Thank you and all of the children who created the wonderful welcome home signs and food bags for our troops returning from Iraq. I am a mother of one of them and it really touched my heart. I'm so grateful you and the children have taken the time to think of our U.S. Soldiers. I brought my son's welcome home signs home and will save them for him in a scrapbook I hope to put together for him so he may show his children one day. Thank you again for everything you are doing for our servicemen and women! They really appreciated it.
... Janis Mehall, Mother of BSTB Soldier (Fort Benning, GA)
I want to express my heartfelt thanks for supporting my husband and his fellow soldiers from the 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division. My husband received a wonderful package from you. I know you are well aware how much boxes from home mean when one is far from home. So, thank you for all that you do. You helped them in getting through this long deployment. Thank you and best wishes.
... Wife of a 1-15 IN Soldier (Fort Benning, GA)
