Our Troops Need Our Help!
Combat soldiers are short on hygiene items on the battlefield … and our field surgical teams are asking for ditty bags to lay on the gurneys of wounded soldiers as they are transported to larger hospital facilities.
Please gather some of the items below and send them to us ... or make the hygiene bags yourself.
Search your linen closets. You may already have many of these items stashed away.
Bring home the soap, shampoo and lotion from the hotels as you travel this summer. These are a perfect size!
Ditty Bags for Wounded Soldiers
Directions: Travel-size items work best for this project. Please use a quart-size ziplock bag as there is not much room on the gurneys to lay these. Place the items in the bag. Feel free to drop a note of encouragement in the bag from you and your return address as well if you wish.
